Golden Years are good with golf and friends

from Ole Miss but operated a family heating and cooling business. A Vicksburg native, Sylvia is an accomplished artist and taught art.
All four are thankful for good health. Bill quit smoking 14 years ago and the others never smoked. Between
the two couples, only one daily medication is taken, although Pat takes some fish oil.
They have advice for younger people who’re looking
forward to the golden years.
“Stay active and mingle with others,” Pat said.
Bill added, “Make as large a group of friends as you
can and travel as much as you can afford.”
“You need to love life, enjoy your family and live your
life without making excuses,” Sylvia said.
Al’s advice is, “Have a good marriage and be able to
laugh.”
