The mission of a Main Street is to help manage the changes that occur in a downtown area over time. Combining forces to work with City partners, these organizations help to preserve the character of a town, encourage authenticity, create events and activities for the community, grow its sales tax base, and provide a sense of place.
Ocean Springs Main Street has been supporting this community since 1989 when it became a part of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce’s tiered structure. From revitalization and historic preservation to economic development, Ocean Springs Main Street works hard in the community. Incorporating more than a dozen community events and festivals annually, Ocean Springs Main Street helps to create a sense of community as well as provides a huge
and businesses, to the bronze statue in front of Miner’s Doll & Toy Store, its touch can be seen throughout the city.
Ocean Springs Main Street loves its community and invites you to take a walk through Main Street, visit with our locals, shop and dine with our businesses, and look for
