Growing up in South Mississippi, I’ve seen my fair share of large stainless
steel and aluminum pots – pots used for simmering gumbo, cooking jambalaya,
or boiling crawfish. Go to any family reunion, Sunday football party, or birthday celebration and you are bound to see a collection of folks encircling a bubbling stock talking politics, sports, or any amount of family gossip. If you think about it, these cookers hold a multitude of secrets, both social and culinary. I thought I had seen it all until I visited Noah’s Seafood and Noodles in Ocean Springs where I laid my eyes on over a hundred gallons of rich, Pho broth being prepared to utter perfection.
Established in February of 2021, Noah’s is a fusion of Cajun and Asian cuisine that hopes to share family favorite dishes with the local community. Owners, Hiep and Jackie Trieu are Gulf Coast natives who
wanted to bring their Vietnamese cuisine to the masses and fulfill their dreams of owning a restaurant that would showcase beautifully crafted dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Named after the family’s youngest nephew and as a tribute to Noah’s Ark in the Book of Genesis, Noah’s Seafood and Noodles is a must-try local spot.
Noah’s offers an incredible selection of food, blending fresh seafood, southern staples and Vietnamese cuisine all into one perfectly crafted menu. Choose from one of their amazing appetizers while you take some time to decide on your main course.
