With sustainable practices being a vital component to the continued
growth and evolution of Coastal Mississippi, many of our partners have
committed to “going green.” Whether it be composting food wastes, recycling paper products, or eliminating
plastic from their business model altogether, there is a rally cry among businesses to amplify environmental stewardship along
The Secret Coast. That rally cry is still echoing amidst the conservations surrounding COVID-19. And despite the rise in
single-use plastics in consumers’ to-go packaging, sanitary gloves, and other safety measures implemented post-
pandemic, a few Coastal Mississippi organizations have maintained their stance in ensuring sustainability is
still a focus in their business practices while ensuring the safety of their staff and customers.
