For a company barely six months old, Weichert Realtors-Gulf Properties is humming along with an office of 21 personnel. Owner/Broker Lynn Wade says she started her own company so she can give and do with zero ceilings to stop her.
Wade truly feels blessed as she overcame weeks in the hospital with COVID this year. “The Lord is my Shepard. He just moved the mountain of COVID,” she says. “I was vented three times and trached with a whole lot in between but with the prayers of thousands all around the world uniting, I was able to defeat the odds.”
After graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi, Wade went into real estate sales part time with her mother, who owned a brokerage firm. “I got the fever! I sold a house my first showing, my first hour with a license,” she recalls.
Now she’s been a realtor for 22 years and a top producer for the past 10 years as well as Realtor of the Year for 2020. She graduated from Leadership Mississippi Association of Realtors, Leadership Honors MAR and Leadership Gulf Coast. She has served as president of Biloxi Ocean Springs Association of Realtors, served on several committees locally and state wide, and as trainer and manager of a franchise before starting Weichert Realtors-Gulf Properties
“I love giving my agents my knowledge and experience to help them start at a level above most other agents to see their success levels explode,” she says.
Wade’s friend Sherrell Stafford says Wade mentored her and many others. “She has the biggest heart for giving. If she knows of anyone in need, she will give to meet that need or make sure it’s provided.”
Wade has four children and five grandchildren who are very involved in the community, therefore she is too; such activities as
cheerleading, gym, dance, softball, basketball, football, baseball.
