All New Year’s Resolutions don’t
have to be miserable. This year make it about golf. For those of you avid golfers who really want to improve and shoot lower scores, dedicate more time to the short game. It is the easiest place to
save strokes and let’s be realistic, you are probably not going to hit enough balls to really change your
ball striking that much.
For those of you who would love
more distance, I have something different for you. Get out in the yard or at the range and simply swing that driver as hard as you can, 20 times every chance you get. I promise if you practice swinging hard, you will increase your club head speed. Most of us
for golfers
get comfortable with our normal feelings which over time produce lower and lower speeds.
So spend more time around the greens and practice swinging that club as fast as you can and it may turn out to be a New Year’s Resolution that is actually enjoyable.
