As we come to the end of our Beach Boulevard voyage, we would be remiss not to enjoy the extraordinary hidden seaside gem that is the city of Pascagoula. Notably making headlines, the city is known as the spot where the Pascagoula River sings, where aliens once made landfall in the ‘70s and where Mr. Margaritaville himself, Jimmy Buffett, first strummed a guitar. But the city serves its visitors with so much more! The “Flagship City” has endless parks and campsites, locally owned eateries with secret generational recipes, and countless perfect waterway spots to watch the waves roll in from the Gulf.
We have made it through Coastal Mississippi, having experienced the sights along the Beach Boulevard Byway. Care to take a turnabout and explore further? We certainly recommend it! If we divert our travel beyond the Beach Boulevard Byway to explore the depths of each town, there is always more to discover within our twelve cities and additional Coastal communities. What wonders you may find and vibrant Coastal characters you will meet!
