T he Mississippi Gulf Coast offers
every type of fishing you could dream of.... freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater to challenge the casting angler, fly fisher, and the troller.
With over 200 species of fish in our waters, you get to choose from inshore fishing, pier fishing, wade fishing and
deep sea fishing.
Jack Crevalle, drum, shark, and more call the waters of the Mississippi Sound home as well as the bass, perch, catfish, and
others that live in the freshwater streams and rivers that feed Back Bay. You never know what you might get when your pole bends in the brackish water.
Fishing any of
the waters on the Mississippi Gulf Coast requires a fishing license. If you are chartering a boat your captain will take care of all licensing as well as bait and tackle. If you are interested in fishing from a pier, wade fishing, or just sitting on the beach with a line in the water the following links will assist you.
