DISCOVERY IS ONLY A TOUR AWAY
 BILOXI HISTORIC TOURS
For a city more than three centuries old, you can bet downtown is filled with history. So take a tour on foot, in a vehicle, or on a bicycle. You can even watch history come alive at the cemetery.
Visitors can discover Biloxi
through the Historic Walking Tour. The popular tour boasts the city’s colorful past by taking a look at the architectural heritage and regions downtown that make Biloxi what it is today. The city’s historic downtown is in East Biloxi.
You can expand the tour by taking the Essence of Biloxi Driving & Bicycling Trail tour. The tour, guided through an online app, is divided into east and west tours. It allows visitors to learn more about the city’s architectural culture and gain insight into what makes Biloxi diverse. Both
tours begin at the Biloxi Visitors Center located at 1050 Beach Blvd.
And, if you want to see some of Biloxi’s vivid characters of yesteryear, you can watch the city’s Old Biloxi Cemetery Tours online. Each year
in October, the Preserve Biloxi Committee produces a group of graveside re-enactors appearing in character telling attendees about the life and experiences of those buried in the city’s oldest cemetery. In recent years, the tours have been recorded and are online for anyone to view.
The Old Biloxi Cemetery stretches from Beach Boulevard on the southern end to the north of the CSX railway off Irish Hill, east of White Avenue.
