Horseshoe cuts ribbon to open Guy Fieri restaurant
TUNICA — In July, celebrity chef
Guy Fieri opened his first restaurant
in Mississippi with Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar at Horseshoe Tunica, bringing the culinary star’s big and bold flavors to the region. Fieri and his team at Knuckle Sandwich, LLC, have opened over 80 restaurant concepts worldwide.
Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar has a menu that features American-style cuisine that includes his signature Trash Can Nachos along with a hearty selection of signature burgers, sandwiches, and desserts.
“We are excited to open Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar at Horseshoe Tunica for our guests,” said Derrick Madison, senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Tunica.
“We’re confident that our guests will love what Guy has to offer and we’re excited about bringing the flavor to Mississippi.”
The 224-seat restaurant is
located on the main casino floor across from the World Series of
Poker Room and is open daily.
Fieri is not only a successful
chef and restaurateur, but also
a New York Times best-selling
author and Emmy Award-winning
TV host. One of the world’s
most recognizable and influential culinary stars today, in 2019, Fieri became only the third chef to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Fame.

Lil Squirts Splash Pad
Geyser Falls Water Theme Park at Pearl River Resort recently held a ribbon cutting to open its newest attraction, the Lil Squirts Splash Pad. This $890,000 makeover features custom tribal-inspired designs, including eight-point stars that represent the eight Tribal communities of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. The new splash pad is accessible to all children. The water park spans 23 acres and includes 13 water slides, a six-story freefall speed slide, a wave pool, a lazy river, a racing slide, a children’s water playground, and eight acres of water and white sand beaches. Along with Geyser Falls employees, MBCI Chief Cyrus Ben (center) cut the ribbon launching a day of family festivities.
Food court, poker room new additions at Harrah’s Gulf Coast
BILOXI — Harrah’s Gulf Coast has several additions, including a smoke- free gaming area, a food court featuring new eateries and a WSOP Poker Room. Also, a redesigned high limit area at Harrah’s offers table games, slot machines and video poker, as well as a bar for high limit guests.
Guests will appreciate convenient access to the food court from the east garage entrance.
Also located near the east entrance is the new WSOP Poker Room, which boasts five customized tables and the new BRAVO Poker system. BRAVO Poker is billed as a complete poker room management solution.

chicken, beef-and-broccoli stir fry, lo mein and the surf-and- turf fried rice. For seafood specialties, the food court has Port 17, with menu selections that come fried, broiled or boiled. Port 17 offers generous portions of New Orleans- style crab cakes, etouffee and firecracker shrimp. Also in the food court, hand-dipped ice cream and mini donuts can be found in Scoops.
These smoke-free eateries are located where the buffet used to be and are adjacent to the popular Steak ’N Shake.
