Tunica properties show their pride at parade
TUNICA RESORTS — Several Tunica properties participated in the annual Memphis Pride Parade. Horseshoe Tunica, Gold Strike, Hollywood Tunica and 1st Jackpot Casino showed their rainbow colors during the June event, which runs through the historic Beale Street Entertainment District.
Horseshoe won best float in the parade. Parent company, Caesars Entertainment was the first in the industry to partner with the National LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, and more than a decade ago created the first Business Impact Group for LGBTQ+ team members and allies, called EQUAL.
Gold Strike’s participation was led by its Social Impact & Sustainability Council. MGM Resorts has a long-standing history supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, launching the Love Out Loud campaign that seeks to embolden people to be their true, authentic selves.
And, Hollywood and 1st Jackpot employees marched carrying a Love Who You Are banner, and gave out logo’d swag at their booth.
