 Spreading Warmth
WaterView Casino Hotel
is helping keep people warm this winter by donating blankets to two Vicksburg organizations. In early December, employees brought boxes of blankets to Encompass Health Hospice and the Vicksburg Convalescent Center.
   Gift For Firefighters
Isle of Capri Lula wrapped up the holiday season by donating $500 to the Coahoma County Volunteer Firefighters. Senior Vice President and General Manager Jim Milne (right) presented the check to firefighter representatives just days before Christmas.

Food Pantry Work
Horseshoe Tunica HEROs came together to help at the Odessa Grant Food Pantry in Tunica. Volunteers from Horseshoe unloaded trucks, separated items and then distributed the food to families in need during the holiday season.
Hurricane Relief
 Ameristar Casino Hotel donated nearly $3,000 in November to Hurricane Ida Relief after collecting slot tickets and chips from casino guests. Van For Vets
Veterans Day 2021 was made more memorable for the members of VFW Post 4808 in Lakeshore, Mississippi, when Silver Slipper Casino Hotel donated a wheelchair-accessible van to the organization. The 2015 Starcraft van was given to the Sam C. Ladner memorial VFW Post for its
Van for Vets program, which transports veterans in Hancock County to doctor and hospital appointments. Silver Slipper used promotional funds made available through Coca-Cola to make the purchase. The van was dedicated at the VFW on Veterans Day with Silver Slipper General Manager John Ferrucci handing over the keys.
    Veterans Day Donation
Bally’s Vicksburg donated napkins, hinged food containers and potato salad to The American Legion on Nov. 11 — Veterans Day. In 2021, the property helped to feed approximately 300 veterans. Mickey Fedell (right), player development manager, delivered the supplies.
