MGHA Service Award
Larry Gregory (left), executive director for the Mississippi Gaming & Hospitality Association, presented a plaque to Gerad Hardy, vice president and multi-property general manager for Ameristar Casino Vicksburg, Hollywood Casino Tunica and 1st Jackpot Casino Tunica, for his service as chair of the MGHA. Hardy’s term ended in December 2020. Joe Lodise, senior vice president and general manager for Caesars Entertainment Mid-South, has been named MGHA chair for the new year.

This collaborative effort by our local gaming industry partners, the Tunica CVB and the Mississippi legislature is evidence of the important role that travel and tourism plays to the overall health of the Mississippi economy.
While the global pandemic has affected every part of our society and economy, this cooperative effort by our elected leadership and our states destination marketing organizations, has positioned Mississippi and our gaming industry here in Tunica and across our state to remain competitive during these trying times and ready for a successful stable new year.
