Bikes For Children
Greenville Mayor Errick D. Simmons (left) received
a donation of bicycles from Harlow’s Casino Resort and Spa as part of his annual Christmas toy drove. “It’s wonderful to continue to partner with Harlow’s.
Harlow’s has been here since the inception (of the toy drive). Harlow’s is a good corporate citizen to the city, the county, the Delta, but also the children in this community,” Simmons said. Pictured with the mayor is Roscoe Greene, president and general manager of Harlow’s.
Horseshoe Tunica employees delivered food, slippers and blankets to many in the Tunica area.
Horseshoe HEROs donate during holiday season
TUNICA RESORTS — Horseshoe Tunica HEROs, the employee-based volunteers, donated generously during the holiday season.
Just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays, Horseshoe partnered with Sacred
Heart Southern Missions
and delivered food to 32
residents of Golden Estates and 60 residents of KPC Housing in Tunica. This holiday season’s generosity allowed the HEROs to expand the giving to Southern Pines Assisted Living in Horn Lake.
Spreading joy and cheer over the Christmas holidays, Horseshoe donated more than 200 slippers and blankets to senior and disabled individuals in Tunica County, Horn Lake, and at the VA Medical Center in Memphis. The residents were thankful and appreciative of the gifts.
Additionally, each month, Horseshoe HEROs support more than 250 families in the Tunica area by distributing food with the Mid-South Food Bank.
