Tribute bands and R&B greats coming soon to Gold Strike Theatre
TUNICA — Gold Strike is paying tribute to famous entertainers with an impressive lineup of tribute shows during the first half of 2025. The casino has also announced an upcoming performance by Dru Hill.
In March, Queensryche brings its hard edge to Gold Strike, performing at the Gold Strike Theatre at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28.
Since the band released its first EP in 1984, the metal legends have built a reputation of pushing the limit of the metal genre and expanding music in though-provoking ways.
With songs like “Suite Sister Mary,” “Eyes of a Stranger,” “NM 156,” “Take Hold of the Flame,” “Anybody Listening” and “I Am I,” Queensrÿche has experimented with orchestral elements, lyrics inspired by politics, religion and social injustice and state-of- the-art concert staging.
With its current lineup of Todd LaTorre on vocals, Michael Wilton on guitar, Eddie Jackson on bass, Mike Stone on guitar and Casey Grillo on drums, the band is coming off its 16th studio

band, it is a music and stage production.
The WannaBeatles

Coming soon to Gold Strike: See Dru Hill in a live performance at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13. Tickets start at $49.50.
Named after a beloved Baltimore park, Dru Hill comprises original members Nokio and Sisqó, along with new additions Smoke and Black, who joined in 2018. In August of the same year, Dru Hill announced a new album, The Second Coming, featuring its redefined lineup.
The first single from the album, “What You Need,” marked a new chapter for the group. Together, Smoke and Black bring unmatched vocal range and fresh energy to the group while preserving the classic harmonies fans have cherished for decades, continuing its legacy as pioneers of R&B music.
With more than 40 million records sold worldwide, the group’s influence extends far beyond music. From chart-topping albums to memorable performances in blockbuster film soundtracks, such as “Rush Hour” and “Wild Wild West,” Dru Hill has solidified its place in music.
