Monster, Stimulus tournaments at Horseshoe
New events added to regularly scheduled weekly poker tournaments
TUNICA — The poker room at Horseshoe Tunica features a number of amenities designed to enhance the poker experience. The Horseshoe Tunica poker room offers tableside food service, complimentary beverage service, a self-service coffee station, massages at the poker tables, and electrical and USB outlets at each player’s spot to ensure a comfortable and indulgent casino poker experience. The room also has 16 large screen televisions and free Wi-Fi to keep players connected. With a dedicated poker cashier, cash game sign-up podium and tournament registration area, the Horseshoe Tunica Poker Room has it all.
The poker room has a poker tournament schedule in place for September that offers plenty of
action. In addition to the action
there is more money. Each week
kicks off with the No Limit Texas Hold’em Big Blind Ante Deepstack Tournament on Sundays at 12:10 p.m. This event features a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool. It is $100 to enter with $15,000 in starting chips. The tournament has 20-minute levels and re-entry is allowed for the first five levels.
Also on Sundays, Horseshoe
hosts the Stimulus Poker Tournament at 7:10 p.m. The entry fee is $35 ($18 to house, $2 to promo and $15 staff fee). The prize pool will be $2,500 from the promo fund. Ten places maximum will be paid (40 or less players pays five places and 41 or more pays 10 places). Participants will start with $8,000 in tournament chips (no cash value). All registrants and re-entries will enter the tournament with a full chip stack and may enter without penalty. If a player loses all of their chips within the first five levels, they may re-enter the tournament for a full buy in. Levels last 15 minutes.
- Monday through Thursday, Horseshoe Tunica hosts Daytime Dailies. These are daily No Limit Hold’em Big Blind Ante Tournaments that start at 12:10 p.m. with a $1,000 guaranteed prize fund. Entry is $65 for $12,000 in starting chips. There are 15-minute levels and re-entry is allowed for the first seven levels.
Other scheduled tournaments at Horseshoe include:
- On Mondays, there is a 7 p.m. Monday Night Monster No Limit Texas Hold’em Tournament with a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool. It is $75 to enter this tournament for $25,000 in starting chips. This one features 15-minute levels and re-entry allowed for the first six levels.
- On Tuesdays, the Horseshoe’s poker room hosts a No Limit Hold’em Big Blind Ante Deepstack Tournament at 7:10 p.m. with a $2,000 guaranteed prize fund. Entry is $75 for $15,000 in starting chips. There are 20-minute levels and re-entry is allowed for
the first five levels in this tournament.
- On Wednesdays, Horseshoe hosts a Big Monster Tournament
at 7:10 p.m. with a $4,000 guaranteed prize fund. It is $135 buy- in for this event. Get $30,000 in tournament chips. If a player loses all of their chips within the first seven levels they may re- enter the tournament for a full buy-in. Late entries and re-entry’s will be allowed for the first seven levels. Levels are 20 minutes. All late registrants and re-entry’s will enter the tournament with a full chip stack and may enter tournament without penalty. (posting or waiting). Tournament Chips will be used in tournament play and have no cash value.-
On Thursdays, the casino hosts a Green Chip Bounty No Limit Texas Hold’em Tournament at 7:10 p.m. with $400 bonus bounties added. Entry is $100 for $12,000 in starting chips. There are 20-minute levels for this event, where one bonus bounty will be drawn at the end of the first four levels ($50 to the player drawn and $50 added to the bounty card). Re- entry is allowed for first four levels.
- On Fridays, Horseshoe is home to the Friday Night Super Satellite No limit Texas Hold’em Tournament at 12:10 p.m.
with 20-minute levels. It features $300 seats guaranteed.
It is $30 to enter with $20 re-buys. Start with $4,000 in chips. Re- buys receive $4,000 in chips. Re-buy any time for levels 1 through 6 with $4,000 or below in chips. A single add-on is available at second
break - $15,000 in tournament chips for $40.
At 7:10 p.m. on Fridays the poker room hosts the Friday Night
Black Chip Bounty Tournament with 30-minute levels (No- Limit Hold’em). It is $300 to enter, $10,000 guaranteed, $20,000 in starting chips. Re-entry is allowed for the first four levels.
- Saturdays are big in the poker room with a noon No Limit Texas Hold’em Big Blind Ante Deepstack Tournament at 12:10 p.m. The buy-in is $165 for this weekly event, which has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool, $20,000 in starting chips, 30-minute levels and re-entry allowed for the first four levels.
On Saturdays at 7:10 p.m. Horseshoe hosts the Thousandaire Tournament. First through fourth place is guaranteed $1,000 each. It is $135 to enter with $15,000 in starting chips. Re-entry is allowed the first four levels. Levels are 20 minutes.
