Celebrating 30 years at Pearl River Resort with special events in July
Stars, fireworks, giveaways at casino
CHOCTAW — Pearl River Resort has a 30th anniversary celebration so bright it will light up the sky. The excitement includes big-name acts, an anniversary-themed promotion, and a festive Fourth of July fireworks show.
The party begins on Wednesday, July 3, when from noon to 4 p.m. players
who visit the Players Club at Silver
Star Casino will receive a free 30th anniversary T-shirt. The shirts are available while supplies last. Later that day, from 5 to 9 p.m., players club members can participate
in the $3,000 Cash & BonusBet Drawings. On Thursday, July 4, Pearl River Resort
will light up the sky with a spectacular fireworks
show. This family friendly display will include amazing pyrotechnics not to be missed. The show starts at 9 p.m.
The 30th anniversary promotion, featuring cash and BonusBet prizes, is set for Friday and Saturday, July 5-6. From 7 to 11 p.m., players have a chance to win a share of $30,000 in prizes.
The fun continues on Sunday, July 7, with the Double Big
Big and Rich featuring Gretchen Wilson at PRR
Bang! Session in the bingo room. Double the prizes during the main session means double the fun and excitement. Doors to the bingo room open at noon. Early bird games start at 1 p.m., and the main session starts at 1:30 p.m. During the anniversary celebration, the concert lineup on the Center Stage at Silver Star includes Boys II Men and Big and Rich. Boys II Men perform July 5 at 8 p.m. The popular R&B group is best known for hits including “End of the Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and
“Motownphilly.”
Big and Rich featuring Gretchen Wilson
with Cowboy Troy perform live on July 6 at 8 p.m. Featuring a mix of country and rock, hit songs by Big and Rich include, “Save a Horse,” “Lost in This Moment,” and “Comin’ to Your City.” Country girl Gretchen Wilson had hits with “Redneck Woman” and “Here for the
Party.”
