TUNICA — Memorial Day
weekend is often considered the unofficial start of the summer grilling season in the United States, and hamburgers are a top choice for cookouts during this time. Hot dogs are big, too, but nothing beats a juicy hamburger.
Millions of burgers are consumed on Memorial Day alone, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering Americans reportedly consume more than 14 billion hamburgers in a year.
A good way to kick off
Memorial Day weekend would be
to get the burger of all burgers.

at Horseshoe Tunica has it on the
menu. It’s the Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger. You’ve never had a cheeseburger like this. It is an award-winning burger featuring richly marbled 100% USDA ground beef smash-grilled and topped with crispy applewood bacon, six-cheese mac ‘n’ cheese, onion straws and
served with Guy’s Donkey Sauce on a garlic-buttered brioche bun. The burger was voted Best
Burger in Las Vegas by Seven Magazine and was the winner of the New York City Food & Wine Festival’s Burger Bash.
It comes with a crispy fry trio – French fries, waffle fries and sidewinder fries. You will want to check it out.
The gourmet hamburger is fresh and juicy. The bacon is crispy and the mac-n-cheese is melty and delicious. Onion straws add just the right amount of crunch – yum.
I would recommend cutting it in half. This burger is two-hands full.
Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar is open daily. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 7 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Players can redeem Reward Credits and earn Reward Credits at the restaurant.

Breakfast sandwiches and pastries are available 6 to 11 a.m. Sandwiches include a bacon, egg and cheese croissant; a sausage, egg and cheese English muffin and a ham, egg and cheddar croissant. Pastries include biscotti, an almond croissant, a white
chocolate esraspberry scone, donuts, danishes, sticky buns, muffins and cinnamon buns.
Sandwiches available 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. include a ham and Swiss melt on a ciabatta bun, a turkey and cheddar sandwich on wheatberry bread; a spinach, feta, strawberry and chicken wrap; and a ham, turkey, salami, Provolone and olive mix on a hoagie.
Desserts available 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. include cookies, coffee cake, flourless coffee cake, a salted caramel tart, assorted cakes; and iced lemon loafs and banana nut loafs.
