With major expansion comes new
dining options at Southland Casino
New steak house, casual dining restaurant, buffet and bars in the mix
WEST MEMPHIS — With the spring opening of the expanded Southland Ca- sino comes a host of new dining options. There will be something for everyone, in- cluding a new buffet, a casual restaurant, a new steakhouse, a coffee bar, a bourbon bar and more. Here is a quick glance at the new dining experiences coming to Southland
Casino:
Ignite offers an upscale dining experience where casual attire is
acceptable. The restaurant features charcoal-grilled steaks, seafood and local favorites, along with classic and craft cocktails, an expand- ed wine list and premium craft beers.
The Kitchens at Southland is a unique buffet featuring seven “open” kitchens, a bakery and a bar.
The Fry House at Southland is a quick, casual restaurant offering an entire menu of fried foods such as catfish, chicken, and hand-cut fries.
The Grind Coffee Bar is a quick-service coffee bar with gourmet coffees, pastries and offers grab ’n’ go menu offerings and Smart Bar drinks.
Charred Oak Bourbon Bar is a Southern bourbon and whiskey bar and lounge overlooking the casino floor.
Chairman’s Bar includes a fully stocked bar with cocktail service. It features a large video screen and multiple TV screens.
Ignite Steakhouse Bar is a high-end bar located at the entrance to the steakhouse, right off the casino floor. Seasons Café, com-
ing this summer, will serve as Southland’s 24-hour full-service casual restaurant.
About Southland Casino expansion:
As of press time construction is on track to open Southland’s new casino complex by early Spring 2022, with the hotel to follow later in the year. A gleaming, blue-glass high- rise hotel is being built at the site, along with a new, 113,000 square foot casino complex that will be filled with 2,400 slot machines and as many as 60 live table games. Plus, res- taurants, bars, a parking garage and a VIP
lounge.
Later this year, the Southland team is expected to introduce a
first-class, 300-room hotel with 60-70 suites and 12 executive-level, presidential suites. The views and amenities will elevate the South- land guest experience to a higher level.
