Gold Strike features special St. Patrick’s Day Menu
Traditional Irish food at Buffet Americana
TUNICA — Gold Strike’s Buffet Americana, known for its traditional American cuisine and fresh new offerings, will feature traditional Irish cuisine on St. Patrick’s Day, Thurday, March 17.
The menu will include boiled cabbage, charred green beans mashed potatoes and brown gravy.
There will also be corn bread dressing, baked cod with a Guinness and parsley cream sauce, and shaved corn beef and gravy.
Other offerings include Shepherd’s Pie, ranch corn and roasted root vegetables.
Other dishes on the buffet include mac-and-cheese, Dublin Coddle, meatloaf with a sweet tomato glaze, fried catfish with hush puppies and Southern fried chicken.
There is pasta, too, with Marinara or Alfredo sauce, cream spinach, green peas and onions, nu potatoes and baked sweet potatoes, broccoli-and-cheese, and lima beans.
There’s more, like breaded Irish pork chops and honey glazed carrot and stuffed peppers
At the carving station take advantage of glazed pit ham, roasted corn and beef steamship round with gravies and sauces
The buffet is open for dinner at Gold Strike on Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m., $22.99; Fridays from 5 to 11 p.m., $29.99; Saturdays from
2 to 11 p.m., $29.99 and Sundays from 2 to 9 p.m., $22.99.
There is also a Buffet to Go. Purchase a to-go container and select from the entire buffet. Fit it in the box and take it to go. Buffet- to-Go prices are: Brunch - $19.99, dinner (Thursday & Sunday) - $19.99 and dinner (Friday - Saturday) - $24.99. This is limited to one container per person. Pricing for Buffet To Go is subject to change
