Save lots of time by taking I-269 to Tunica
MISSISSIPPI — The “Fast Track to Tunica” is open. Motorists traveling in northwest Mississippi gained access to Interstate 269 when the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) opened the final nine-mile segment of the interstate. For commercial and tour- ism traffic, I-269 has given travelers a more efficient route between I-40 and I-55 and helped them avoid congestion in the Mem-
phis metro area.
More specifically for Tunica County and
its six casinos, because I-269 connects to I-69 at I-55, it provides quick and conve- nient access to the casinos for people travel- ing from the east.
The direct connectivity from I-40 in Ten- nessee to US-61 in Tunica County via I-269 has effectively created a “Fast Track to Tu- nica.”
It has never been easier to get to Tunica by car, thanks to I-269. This is illustrated by the map provided at left.
