Gold Strike has lots of dining options
Thanksgiving menus, award-winning steakhouse, sports bar in mix
TUNICA — Gold Strike Casino Resort offers dining options for every taste, and this fall, the resort’s culinary team is serving dishes sure to whet your appetite.
At Buffet Americana, enjoy a diverse range of familiar fare in the comfort of a booth. Choose from a variety of favorites, alongside brick oven pizzas and a Mongolian grill. From brunch to dinner, Buffet Americana offers cuisine to suit every palate.
Buffet Americana will feature a special Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday menu priced at $39.95. On Thursday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy traditional holiday fare along with Southern favorites and the usual offerings. The grill station will include slow-roasted prime rib, roasted turkey breast, pit ham with orange honey glaze, giblet gravy, and au jus.
The fried station will feature Southern fried chicken, crispy fried catfish with hush puppies, braised short ribs, and fried shrimp both days.
Diners will also find plenty of enticing options at the salad bar, hibachi station, potato bar (with baked sweet potatoes available both days), pasta station, Southern sides station, dessert station, and pizza and fajita station.
Buffet Americana is open Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 8 p.m.

range of mouthwatering selections. Appetizers include five seafood options: seared sea scallops, classic shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, lobster tempura, and charbroiled oysters. Other choices include grilled duck breast with aromatic vegetables and spicy mustard sauce, or candied thick-cut bacon over
field greens with French dressing.
Soup and salad selections include French onion gratinée, lobster bisque, wedge salad, heirloom tomato salad, roasted beet-and-berry summer salad,
and traditional Caesar salad.
Steak lovers will find filet mignon, New York strip, bone-in ribeye, and porterhouse on the menu. On Fridays and Saturdays, a 14-ounce prime rib is available (in limited quantities).
Chops include double-bone domestic lamb chops, a 14-ounce long-bone veal chop (Saltimbocca style), and a Berkshire tomahawk pork chop.
Steak enhancements include Oscar, Béarnaise, shrimp scampi, mushroom Bordelaise, truffle butter, blue cheese, and lobster tail. Chicago specialties feature Chicago seafood pasta, bone- in chicken breast, and braised balsamic barbecue pork shank.
