The Mavericks: ‘En Espanol’ World Tour comes to Horse- shoe on Friday, March 4. The Mavericks are an American country music band that combines Tex-Mex with neotraditional country music, Latin, and rockabilly influences. Between 1991 and 2003, the band recorded six studio albums, in addition to charting 14 singles on the Billboard country charts. Their highest-peaking American single was 1996’s “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down,” a collabo- ration with accordionist Flaco Jiménez. They are best known in the UK for their 1998 single “Dance the Night Away”, which spent 18 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 4. In 1996, The Mavericks won a Grammy Award for the song “Here Comes the Rain.”
The Aaron Lewis: Frayed at Both Ends, The Acoustic Tour, Friday, is at Horseshoe on March 11. Lewis was a founding mem- ber and lead vocalist of the band Staid and is enjoying success as a country music solo artist.
Tom Segura, in the The Tom Segura: I’m Coming Every- where World Tour, is coming the Horseshoe Tunica on Saturday, April 9. Hollywood, California’s most in-demand comedian, Segura continues his world tour into 2022 with his stop at Horseshoe Tu- nica. Paste Magazine describes Segura as, “...having a natural and capable storytelling ability, one that lifts his narratives out of average anecdote fare and plants them firmly in hilarious ground.” Known for his Netflix specials, “Ball Hog” (2020), “Mostly Stories” (2016) and “Completely Normal” (2014), Segura will get lots of laughs.

Prior to his success as a performer, he co-wrote singles including “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “Back That Thing Up” and “My Cowboy.” Subsequent hits include “Running Outta Moonlight,” “We Want” and “Song Number 7.”
• Fitz Casino & Hotel is home to the Valentine’s Weekend Blues Concert featuring J-Wonn, Avail Hollywood and Dre Walker on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. Jawonn Smith, better known by his stage name J-Wonn, is a soul singer that hails from Jackson, Missis- sippi and has built a name for himself following the release of his hit single “I Got This Record.” J-Wonn followed up “I Got This Record” with several other hits that were in continuous rotation on Southern Soul radio stations across the Southeast region. He has also won several awards from various outlets including Best Enter- tainer, Artist Of The Year, and Best New Single.
Avail Hollywood’s first album, The Young Gunn of Southern Soul, was No. 1 on the Southern Soul Network and ranked on the 2009 Mainstream R&B National Billboard.
