The Buffet is open and features prime rib for $28.99 per person. One can find the prime rib at the carving station. For those who like a medium or well-done prime rib, the carver can place it on the grill nearby to prepare it as requested. My wife likes prime rib well done, so her selection spent some extra time on the grill. It was well done and done well. I sampled it and the prime rib was tender, juicy and flavorful - yum!
The Buffet is also open on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays,
The Buffet emphasizes seafood and has all the regional favorites and a bounty of sides. The cost is $39.99 per person each day and one can add a pound of crab for $19.99. Goewey said the crab legs are made to order and delivered to the table under a banquet cover to hold in the steam. There is also a pasta station where guests can have their pasta made to order.
On my visit there was a wide selection of shrimp prepared in a variety of ways, oysters, crab cakes, salmon and more. I en- joyed tasty crab cakes, peel-and-eat shrimp with cocktail sauce, coconut shrimp, grilled salmon and sausage, in addition to sampling
the prime rib - all delicious! I also checked out the fried catfish and fried chicken. Both were golden fried, crispy and expertly pre- pared - great job!
A Southern Buffet is also available on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $26.99 per person. Buffet prices include unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and one complimen- tary alcohol drink. Goewey said the selec- tion of alcohol drinks available include three draft cocktails, a draft beer and three wines to choose from. Taxes and gratuities are not included in pricing.
